Siren Scales is a small business that provides arts and entertainment while also focusing wildlife and ocean conservation and education.
Water covers about 71% of this earth we call home. The creatures that live in those waters are a big part of our ecosystem and the health of our planet. However, things we do effects their lives and their environment. Siren Scales aims to educate and advocate through arts and entertainment, community events, classes and more.
Siren Sapphire is a Caribbean siren who enjoys collecting lost things from sunken pirate ships. She has also been given pirate accessories as reward for her help in saving them when their ships go down.
About the Owner/Performer
My human name is Alyssa and I am the Siren Sapphire performer and owner of Siren Scales.
I am a Pisces so I have always been part fish, but now I get to show it and share a magical experience and love of water with others. I have a degree from Miami University in Community Arts and Art Management, as well as background in teaching swim lessons and performance.
Before relocating to Williamsburg, VA in 2020, I owned and managed a small business called Magical Moments Entertainment that provided live character entertainment, such as your favorite princesses, for parties and events. After closing the business due to life changes and the COVID-19 pandemic, I missed the magical element in my life.

Sailor / Mermaid Assistant / Photographer
Sean Jones is the sailor that accompanies Sapphire on all of her adventures. He assists in getting in and out of the water safely, ensuring events run smoothly, and much more. Sean has a degree in photography and is the resident photographer for any event. If you book the photography package, he will be taking all the photos and videos.
